Chapter I: The Great Silence

The Pre-Aion

Before the first heartbeat of time, there was only the Void. It was not a darkness that could be seen, for there were no eyes to see; nor was it a coldness that could be felt, for there was no skin to shiver.

It was an absence so absolute that even "nothing" was too loud a word to describe it.

  1. No Energy: Not a single vibration disturbed the stillness. The cosmic sea was flat, frozen in a state of non-existence.

  2. No Time: There was no "before" and no "after." All of eternity was compressed into a single, breathless Now that never moved.

  3. No Matter: No dust, no stone, no stars. The blueprint of the universe was a blank page that had not yet been manufactured.

The Paradox of the Void

In this vast theater of non-being, the Void was both the womb and the grave. It held the potential for everything, yet expressed nothing. It was a vacuum of such infinite depth that it began to ache with the weight of its own emptiness.

“The Void did not wait, for waiting requires time. It simply was—until the moment the Stillness decided to break.”
